With all of today's computers, we will very seldom get hard copy artwork. Most printing projects are created via some type of computer program.Electronic art is sent instead of hard copy. If you have questions while trying to create your file, PLEASE CALL! Sue will be more than happy to help you.
Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, Pagemaker and Indesign are your best software programs when trying to create files for print. Microsoft Word and Publisher will also work but can create problems. We do support all of these programs.
PDF Files......We have had great success using properly created pdf files. PDF files can sometimes be the answer to incompatable software.
Because software companys like to upgrade their programs quickly, it does take us some time to buy the latest and greatest of all of these programs. You should check with us first to see what versions of these programs we have. Other programs can work but can open the door to major problems. If you are uncertain your file is going to work, let us look at it.

To gain access, you must first have a user name and password from us. Please call us so we can set this up for you!
This site will allow you to upload files to us. You the customer and Midland employees will be the only ones that can see your files. If you are unsure of the number of files you have, thats ok. The program is going to ask you the number of files you have to upload. Examples: You thought you had 10 files but you only had 9 or if you have 10 files and you only said 9. In either case, it will work. If you have more and you said less, just go back in and resend the ones you missed.

You need to log in! Please contact us so we can show you how to do this. Please do not place your files in the public directory. YOU MUST LOG IN!
This is FTP transfer. It will allow you to do other things on your computer while you are downloading. If the web transfer is not working, please try this method.
Email
We have two places to you can send smaller simple files. Email can handle files up to 4 megs. With our email, we have two addresses set up. One for mac created files and one for PC created files.
You can always save your file to a removable media. IE: CD, Zip Disk or Floppy Disc. We can always stop out and pick up your removable media.
Once you have sent your artwork, if you have not already done so, go to our Place An Order page. This page is set up so you can tell us all we need to know about your project. If you are sending us your file so we can review it to do an estimate, please go the Request A Quote Page.
